FAQ
CHECK POLICY as of January 1, 2012 (please check back for updates/revisions): As a courtesy to our customers, we accept written check payment for online orders with name, address, and contact information on the check that is accurate to the name, address, and contact information that you provide on your online order form to us.
We have provided these guidelines for acceptance of written check payments for all orders. Please take note of these whenever you place an order as they are subject to changes. Thank you.
Your check payment must be in our hands no later than 3 business days after you submit your order, or your order is subject to cancellation.
Your order will ship when: 1. Your check payment has accurate information of name, address, and contact information according to the information that you have provided on your online order form to us. 2. Online order total calculation (calculated by you), and all check payment amounts are accurate to the order. For all orders: Dollar amount of products ordered + the MN tax of 6.875% (if applicable) + Shipping charge = Your order total. 3. Your check payment has fully processed electronically.
Your order will be delayed and on hold when: 1. Your check payment does not have accurate information of name, address, and contact information according to the information that you have provided on your online order form to us. 2. The check payment received by us is inaccurate, and we have yet to receive further payment. 3. We have not yet received your check payment, or your check payment has not yet fully processed electronically.
Your order will be cancelled when: 1. We have not received your check payment within 3 business days of receiving your order. If your order is cancelled, a new order will have to be placed.

Do you test your products on animals? No. We never have, and we never will! We only test on humans! ☺
Do you use animal fats in your products? No. We do not use animal fats in any of our products. Our organic bars are tallow free soaps, and vegetable and plant based soaps. Organic artisan soap made using traditional methods, and hand stirred.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin? Yes. Our bath and body formulas are very gentle and safe to use for all skin types. They are non-toxic, and highly recommended for sensitive and delicate skin. Our products are not loaded down with preservatives so that they can withstand exposure to the extreme abuse of temperature or over extended shelf life. We use preservatives minimally. If a product does not need a preservative, it simply isn’t added. Most of our products have a two year shelf life or longer.
Do you add fragrance to your facial products? No, our facial products are fragrance free. We offer our luxury lotion, shower & bath gel, and organic soap fragrance free, as well. Please tell us if you would like to order any of our scented products fragrance free.
Do you offer many scents? Yes. We currently offer a variety of light and fun scents for you to choose from. All of our products are lightly scented with the highest quality essential oils and fragrance oils. If you are looking for a particular scent, please tell us. If we get a lot of requests for a particular scent we may add it to our list!
Do you use mineral oil, drying alcohols, or any other harsh ingredients in your products? No. Our formulas are professional spa and salon quality. They contain many nourishing emollients, leaving your skin soft, healthy, and beautiful! Our products are gentle for most skin types with mostly natural and organic ingredients in each.
Do you make your products by hand? A few of our spa products are handmade, however many of SweetWater Bath & Body® products are made in a cosmetic laboratory in the U.S.A. Professional standards and practices are applied in the creation of all of our products.
Do you sell customer information? No. We understand how hard it is to keep personal information private in today’s technological world, and as a service to our customers, we do not sell, or give, your private information to third parties, unless required by law. View our privacy policy.
Is your shopping cart secure? Absolutely! We accept VISA and MASTERCARD. Our shopping cart is very secure with SSL technology and data encryption that provides safe transfer of your credit card information. The percentage of people shopping online is growing everyday. How do you ship your products? We are currently shipping 2 day Priority USPS and FEDEX.
How soon can I expect my order? Your order is processed immediately. You can usually expect your retail order within 3-7 business days (depends on where you live). Wholesale orders are processed and shipped in 1-4 weeks depending on the size of the order, and our schedule. For the holiday season, we recommend that you order your wholesale bath and body products by October 1, at the latest, however orders placed after this date are still accepted.
